First, a quick review:
You might recall we were incorporated on September 14, 2012 as a cyber church. Over the last 8 years, we been building a measurable, sustainable, and reproducible foundation that requires our continued every day focus to the following:
Recovering and embracing the original purpose of the church.
Recapturing the lost experience of discipleship.
Reaching the worldwide community.
Reactivating the New Covenant
Last Friday I wrote about Marti’s vision of the world wide web before she even knew it existed. It was a vision of a vast circus net that stretched as far as the eye could see and I was hovering over it though she wouldn’t meet me for over a year (see Friday’s Catch). It would be years before we would discover that the “net” in her vision was indeed the worldwide internet, clearly calling the original Catch Ministry leadership and us to create a Catch community with its citizens bringing the message of Christ to the whole world.
This church is operated by many of you, a force of 400 volunteers in 143 countries with 20,049 known disciples — boots on the ground — around the world through the worldwide web — a fact which continues to empower us to make disciples of all the nations in real time by simple multiplication.
The fulfillment of Jesus’ command is alive in you and it is alive in me. Together, we are introducing the Gospel of Welcome — by turning the grace given to us out to everyone, everywhere — one person at a time.
We are one-on-one with the whole world.
